5 things to check if your laptop won’t turn on.

Laptop fixes
  1. Check the power source:
The first thing to check is if your laptop is properly connected to a power source and if the power source is functioning correctly. Make sure the power cord is securely connected to the laptop and to a working electrical outlet. Try plugging it into a different outlet or using a different power cord to eliminate the possibility of a power source issue.
  2. Battery check:
If your laptop is not turning on, it may be a battery issue. Check to see if the battery is fully charged or if it needs to be replaced. If your laptop only turns on when it is plugged in, it is likely a battery issue.
  3. Hard reset:
If your laptop is not responding, a hard reset may solve the issue. To do a hard reset, disconnect all peripheral devices, remove the battery, hold down the power button for 30 seconds, reattach the battery, and then turn on the laptop.
  4. Check the display:
If the laptop appears to be turning on but the display is not working, it could be a problem with the screen or graphics card. Try connecting an external monitor to the laptop and see if the display appears on the external monitor.
  5. Boot in Safe Mode:
If your laptop is not starting up properly, booting in Safe Mode can help diagnose the issue. To boot in Safe Mode, restart the laptop and continuously press the F8 key until the Advanced Boot Options screen appears. Choose “Safe Mode” from the options and see if the laptop starts up. If it does, it is likely a software issue that can be resolved.
